Gray Matters Software - Our minds over your matters

Scientific and Engineering Applications

Gray Matters’ engineers, designers, and managers have decades of experience making scientific and engineering software. Here are just a few of the areas where the Gray Matters team has done successful software projects:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and displaying event-related brain potential signals.
  • Testing and analyzing cognitive learning patterns using computer simulations.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and displaying electrophysiological data from neurons in rats and humans.
  • Automating the examination and analysis of concrete-sample composition.
  • Automating the instruction of statistics to undergraduate college students.

No requirement is too complex. In one case Gray Matters’ engineers employed a mathematical technique called spherical spline analysis to determine brain potential signals that had not ever been measured from other signals that had been measured. In another case we developed software that determined which part of the patient’s brain to treat during surgery for Parkinson's disease. If there’s no room for error, call Gray Matters Software.
